OPEN FOR CONSTRUCTION

participatory installation, SOIL Gallery, 2012

In this novel project, the gallery was transformed into a construction site, where clay took the main role. In collaboration with SOIL member artists, the stage was set for a mock corporate office. Visitors were invited to build, play, and contribute to a changing installation in the gallery by making various forms with clay to interact with the existing arrangements and space. During the 6 week long exhibition, the installation had been evolving constantly.

Project was presented in conjunction with the 2012 NCECA Conference.
